“THE FIRST BLOCK OF VASANT VIHAR”

A Block is one of the most beautiful blocks of Vasant Vihar. It has the beautiful St. Dominic’s Church
right in the beginning of the block and towards the end we have the very popular Bengal Sweet
House. In between these two prominent landmarks we have some of the loveliest parks in the
colony.
The parks are well-tended and are planted with seasonals and perennials and are a joy to visit and
walk-in all the year round. The park around A7 and A8 street has a demarcated play/sports area which makes it a haven for the children and adults alike. Most of our streets are covered with Gulmohur and other trees, and during the flowering season they are full of beautiful flowers.
We also have some stunning facades of homes, and balconies which are covered with amazing
plants. We may be biased – but we believe that some of the most beautiful homes can be found in
our block.

Anat Grover
I am a software engineer by profession. Born and brought up in Vasant Vihar, I have played cricket under its large shady trees when I was a child. I am a voracious reader - having devoured both fiction and non fiction from the Vasant Vihar club library, ever since I was very young. I love to travel to offbeat, lesser known destinations and have also been to several treks in the Himalayas.
M. Malika Chaudhuri
I'm a Delhi-based advocate living in Vasant Vihar since 2015, with my advocate husband, two kids and dog. Since my registration with the Bar Council in 2004, I've thrived under the mentorship of Retd. Justice Indu Malhotra. Today, I serve private clients, the Government's Enforcement Directorate, and leading healthcare institutions, including Fortis, SRL, and Metropolis. Beyond the courtroom, I'm a thumri classical singer, an aspiring painter, and a spirited badminton player. I deeply appreciated the RWA’s work particularly during the difficult COVID pandemic, when expecting my second child and believe we have the potential to be a vibrant community, where neighbors support neighbors. My experiences, both as a resident and a lawyer, inspire me to help bridge the gap between our RWA and civic agencies for a better Vasant Vihar.
