Vasant Vihar as we know it today, is situated in the south west of Delhi and is a subdivision of the New Delhi district. There are four main streets in Vasant Vihar – Munirka Marg, Vasant Marg, Poorvi Marg (Eastern Street) and Paschimi Marg (Western Street). These form a rough triangle enclosing much of the neighbourhood, which consist of six blocks, from A to F. The neighbourhood is a residential community with 1425 plots, 53 parks, block markets, and ample open space. It is possibly the only locality of its kind to host 18 schools and 50+ diplomatic missions!
