OUR BLOCKS
Vasant Vihar has a total of six blocks, and each is unique in its own way.
A Block
Vasant Vihar’s first and largest block has roughly 321 plots, and more than 1,800 residential units. Parts of Palam Marg (houses 21-25), Poorvi Marg (houses 2-16 and 39-47), and Vasant Marg (houses 33-58) are included in this block. There are several United Nations specialised agency offices in this block, and is the only block with 2 markets.
Fun Fact: The only church in Vasant Vihar – St. Dominic’s Church – is in A Block!
B Block
A very unique block with a lot of parks and the only block which does not have a market, B Block is home to over 1,000 residential units, and an estimated 235 plots. It extends to Palam Marg (houses 9-21), Paschimi Marg (houses 54-72), and Vasant Marg (houses 1-23). It is home to 2 schools – Little Senators Montessori Preschool and Bala Pritam Guru Harkishan International Public School.
Fun Fact: Nawab “Tiger” Pataudi (former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team) and Sharmila Tagore lived in B Block!
C Block
Vasant Vihar’s smallest block with the largest market, C Block is home to 147 plots, and approximately 600 residential units, spanning to Palam Marg (houses 1-8), and Paschimi Marg (houses 1-17). Tagore International School is a significant landmark of this block. VVWA offices at Kalyan Kendra (9 Paschimi Marg) are located in C Block.
Fun Fact: C Block has the the most number of embassies in Vasant Vihar. The C6 street itself has 5 embassies located in a stretch of 100 yards!
D Block
D Block has 221 plots, including 36 plots on the Paschimi Marg (houses 18 to 53) and 11 plots on Poorvi Marg (houses 28 to 38) with 8 streets, D-1 to D-8. D-6 and D-8 are its longest streets which run parallel to the Poorvi Marg from one end of the D Block to the other end.
Fun Fact: The D-7 park has won many awards for its flowers and beauty. The market has 6 banks and 3 salons. It also has Vasant Vihar’s only PCO club – entry by password only!
E Block
The second largest block, E Block has 258 plots and more than 1,300 residential units, it extends to Paschimi Marg (houses 73-87), Poorvi Marg (houses 17-27) and Vasant Marg (houses 24-32 and 59-70). Complete with its market and parks, E Block also has the maximum number of schools in Vasant Vihar! Modern School and DPS are a part of E Block.
Fun Fact: E Block has the only dog park in Vasant Vihar! And of course, the very popular Vasant Vihar Club is in E Block.
F Block
The second smallest block in Vasant Vihar, F Block comprises of 178 plots and more than 800 residential units. It extends to Munirka Marg (houses 1-13) and Poorvi Marg (houses 49-90). It is the block closest to the famous Basant Lok market complex (Priya Market), with the iconic PVR Priya cinema.
Fun Fact: It’s the Block closest to the Magenta line of the Delhi metro. Vasant Vihar’s two charitable clinics – the Gurudwara Clinic and the Dukh Niwaran Clinic – are located in this block.
